The air in Domino is… well, it’s always crackling. The world’s ascending, etc. But tonight there’s more of an energy in it, ropes of prismatic colors bleeding through the night sky at random intervals. Slowly at first. Barely noticeable. And then there’s something like a distant voice. And if you’re paying attention, that voice is turning into a high-pitched, joyous yell as there’s a sound something akin to a pane of glass shattering as all of those prismatic ropes focus into something that hurdles down like a comet, letting out that wail.
It crashes into an unused parking lot and in the crater, a young woman is already getting to her feet. She’s dressed in an outrageously bright outfit, a coral woolen dress that swishes around her thighs, matching cape, all lined with golden fur. Matching beret, of course. Thick and bright green leggings, and heavy combat boots. Trendafilka Adelina Cardozo may be late to the party, but she’s not showing up underdressed. She rifles through a bag that matches her stockings, popping out a compact, making sure none of her makeup got smeared in the crash landing, before snapping it shut.
“Okay.” She says to no one in particular, rolling her neck and her shoulders, giving a few jumps. Trendafilka who saw the end of time once, and the end of so many other things, lets out a squeal into the night air. “Boa noite, Domino! It’s me again!” She says as she sniffs the air. “Every day weirder… But first, food. Sweets. Ooo, a coffee…? No one to tell me no…”
Trendafilka begins counting money that’s stuffed haphazardly into her purse, letting out a small giggle to herself as she bounces from foot to foot, leaving small craters and then she huffs. “Ugh, right. Self-control…” She murmurs, taking another step which is… normal. She nods half to herself as she adjusts her coat and steps out into the night, sniffing at the air occasionally.
Things to note: It’s Trendafilka! From school! Or from TV. If you’ve met her, you’ve met her. You may recognize her from the Junior League, from a thousand other places. Looking at her or hearing her is enough to reassert her presence in reality and bring that all rushing back. Maybe even just hearing about her. She’s playing with a different ruleset from her currently banished blood family. She’s also gnawed through most of the limiters Sophia and others placed on her a decade ago. It’s not quite fully Tierra, but it is verging close. Luckily, it’s still clearly Trena, the entire conceit for placing mental and emotional limiters on Tierra's power in the first place is a success! Unluckily, it’s still absolutely Trena.
She’s also probably a walking mental bomb if the connective tissue to her is through people who don’t currently exist right now. Good luck trying to reconcile that at the moment.
You can find Trena at the following locations:
1.) Near the crater or perhaps as she’s starting to walk away from her scene! Trena is alot of things and subtle is not where she is tonight. Maybe you were tracking weird lights, maybe you heard the scream or the comet crashing to the earth to come investigate.
2.) Trena is next to some vending machines near her crash site. And with a ‘well, gonna need some more money…’ she punches into the machine with the ease a normal girl would have punching into tissue paper, prying it open to shake out the coins and bills onto the ground before scooping them up and into her purse, while also helping herself to some snacks and drinks.

[Option 2]
Re: [Option 2]
"AH! Miss Sun!"
Another sniff. "... different though."
Re: [Option 2]
... Long or short term visit this time, oh Shard of Disaster?
Re: [Option 2]
She cracks open a canned coffee, and takes a long sip.
"Prolly not a shard anymore, unfortunately." She sighs, waving her free hand. "Sister Sophia's idea was solid enough I think it worked as intended. But I got no intention of staying cooped up in her forest anymore." She streeeeetches out. "... you did help. Alot. About staying focused and dignified and all of those ideas though. Helped me gnaw, I think."
Re: [Option 2]
We should do a refresher course. And you are of course welcome at my home, Trendafilka Adelina Cardozo.
::Turns, pondering the Vending Machine.::
I have so much trouble with these things...
Re: [Option 2]
She blinks. Once. Twice.
"Oh, um. What did you want? I can get it for you."
Re: [Option 2]
Since it is the new year, I have wanted to try and orange soda. As an orange is a symbol of the new year. A symbol of hope and renewal.
If you can get me that, you will be quite welcome in my domicile, my dear niece.
::Tilts her entire body.::
Re: [Option 2]
"I guess with the marriage chart... yeah, niece makes sense? But then if we factor in... ack, thinking too much! I am not acting as Tierra yet."
She pauses, looks at the machine she's essentially rendered useless. ... to the one Hirume's looking at. Shrugs, and slides some bills into it, before pressing the buttons.
"Here you go, miss Sun."
Re: [Option 2]
You are younger than me and are relatively a child, my dear ward.
Niece seems most reasonable for any and all's sanity.
Re: [Option 2]
"I guess? Unfortunately, I'm also ultimately the matriarch who isn't whatever Anna is and source of fifty percent of my blood family's, ah, weirdness. The other's too unstable to really be a grounding force." She sighs. "So there's that. At least there's gonna be no time loops for anyone but Helen and Eira once I get it all straightened out!"
Re: [Option 2]
For my own wits and sanity, I will not pull at the thread of your convoluted knot. And I have and will view you in the way one does one's progeny or cherished ward.
I believe the phrase Niece feels the least convoluted phrasing, and shows a level of affection that something like Vassal or Handmaiden wouldn't.
::Says this, crossing her arms, holding the soda can. And giving a bit of a sigh.::
Re: [Option 2]
"It's a big knot, and I think I'm gonna just tear it in half."
Re: [Option 2]
You should try to dress and look the part of...
Re: [Option 2]
::That's a hot tan blonde in a sports car pulling up.::
Of an adult, Trens.
Re: [Option 2]
"What does that even mean? Arbitrary unfun fashion where you either dress like a pop culture CEO or show alot of skin? Being an adult means I get to wear whatever I want, and I like this dress, this hat, it all matches and it's warm for winter!"
she clonks the heel of her combat boots on the ground, stretching a bit now.
"If Domino wishes to reject human culture and become that of monsters, perhaps we should all look at other norms that have been passed down and swirl around in a miasma of unfun things, yes? And the idea of trading in color for a sea of suits or business dresses or animal print or just hot pink sounds reaaaaally boring to me."
Re: [Option 2]
Realistically? My more stick-up-her-ass half has reservations until she sees you as acknowledged as the matriarch of your family. Or something similar.
Whatever happened with you, it happened off screen, so to speak, and she still sees you as the young girl she helped nurture.
That said, you want a burger?
Re: [Option 2]
"I could probably do fifteen right now without needing to stop!"
Re: [Option 2]
Then hop into the sports car made in Italy.
::Points behind her as the other Hirume climbs into the passenger's seat.::
Re: [Option 2]
"I haven't had what feels like proper body for a bit, and I gotta limber up. Dunno what's body I had or what I've manifested out of Will. Keeping up with a car sounds like a really good way to start figuring it out! Also, not going to be able to move alot in a seat, and I've not been able to move for a bit. Going to be avoiding spaces where can't move. You understand, yes?"
Re: [Option 2]
Sure, if you can keep up with me going 100 miles per hour because traffic law is dumb and for nerds. Like my husband.
::VROOOM vrrooooommm.::
Re: [Option 2]
"I will try! If not, can probably at least follow your scent."
Re: [Option 2]
I long since turned this entire body into a robot. Everyone else's problem is their problem!
Re: [Option 2]
"I'll see what I can do to keep up with. Worst case scenario is I get there as food's ready. You all have distinct scent I can find easily, and will not turn down free food."
Re: [Option 2]
Thatta girl, and if you want, I can get a death trap training course set up to help you get back in the groove.
::Starts revving the engine.::
Re: [Option 2]
"Ready when you are!" And as soon as that car starts to move, so does Trena, kicking off hard as she lets out a scream and immediately up a building to do some parkour.
