I realized I did not do exhibition duels because I instead ran obstacle courses and rode motorcycles for ten hours instead.

What do I do.

You can find Trendafilka hanging upside down from a light pole, flipping through a magazine in the middle of Domino.

"Ay, really? Hm." She looks suspicious, but shrugs.

"Ah! Yes, am brushing up on what will be in style for this party, since it is to be formal. I plan on being impressive."

*he could prove it. you only need to ask.*

Oh! Yes, that party. I'm sure I have something formal, but I'll have to go back home to get it... or have it sent here, either one.

"Oh? Is it a very long trip back home? I could see not having nice tux or dress on hand for boarding school though."

It's a hassle getting to and from there. If I go back there, I'd rather it be to spend an extended amount of time, essentially. Which is basically more appropriate to the Christmas break, not right before Christmas. *he sighs*

But, I'm sure I'll manage something. I don't want to miss this.

"It will be very good I feel. There are shops with very pretty clothes here! Probably some formal wear for boys, I do not know."

She hums a little.

"What are you doing in Domino anyway?"

You mean, in general, or just at the very moment?

"Both, I guess?

Though I guess general is 'there is good school here for spirit education.'"

*he laughs a bit*

I'm from Japan, in case you couldn't guess, so coming here for school when I'm interested in dueling and spirits makes sense, yes.

I'm in Domino specifically right now though because being on an island all the time where I can see the ocean on all sides makes me feel a little claustrophobic.

"Oh, yes! That would make much sense, it is how some countries dispose of war criminals. Would drive me crazy and I would be found in haunted woods, leading bears."

That would... Probably be bad, yes.

Still, what about you? Why are you, specifically, hanging from a light pole?

"Oh, reading and getting thoughts straight. Need to ask person to dance, probably but get nervous thinking about it so not thinking about it is key!

So going to distract self with shopping soon, as soon as I figure out what I am wearing."

... I'm tempted to ask about that, but that would make you think about it.

"Ay, you can ask! Is only beast that makes me nervous.

Would fight dragon over asking someone out any day. ...Is this normal feeling?"

I mean...

Usually fighting a dragon would be something that's so fantastic, that it wouldn't happen. So if you got the chance to, of course you'd jump on it.

Asking someone out though is a "real" problem that gives butterflies in the stomach.

"And sweating palms and weird feeling in head."

Yeah that's... generally what's associated with the "butterflies" feeling.

I mean, I'm sure you'll manage it? Just imagine that the one you're asking out is a dragon.

And that the way to defeat them is to take them to a dance.

"...Oh!

That's super good!"

She's already produced a phone. Pauses. Takes a selfie of herself on the lamppost and then starts furiously texting.

*oh good I managed to help in some way.

I'm surprised.*

"Thank you!"

She leaps past you and spins down the rest of the pole as she hits the ground.

"Do you want some ice cream or something Sumiho? Oh, I also need to get some hair dye and some new eye shadow... But that can wait!

Oh, uh.

... Sure, I can go for ice cream.

*he climbs down. Pretty efficiently too despite him holding onto his toy. huh! I guess he is capable of that.*

"Have you considered going on parkour runs...? I think you would be good at it!"

Hnmm, I don't know if I'd really be good at the running part, actually.

"Fair! Alright!"

She skips ahead, presumably for ice cream.
