As was ~~threatened~~ promised, Trena is in Domino for a week or two. And she's not allowed to interact with anything that might be the apocalypse. This suits her just fine, because she just watched a WEDDING and she is in a ROMANCE mood rather than VIOLENCE (her two settings). So she is tracking down her cuddle pile. Or seeking permission to marry them. Or has just decided to bother you.

As always, most ways of keeping her at bay are useless.

You're either one of her eventual cuddle pile, being ambushed (or abashedly approached since she's been gone a while) or you've caught her in-between dates.

Ay, sorry about the sudden disappearance! Had something very important to try and do with someone and she did not give me much warning that we were about to leave.

[Event]
It's probably been a few months since you've seen her, and she's changed up her look alot, but you can find someone familiar around Domino and the island. She's:

A.) At the Academy, sitting on the steps of the front with a piece of paper in her hand. She looks... shaken.

B.) She's in the arena where the SJL takes place, staring at the field.

C.) At your house. Yes, yours! Why is she here? How did she get in?

IT HAPPENED

I AM NOW APPROVED TO THROW SCHOOL SANCTIONED PARTIES

You can find Trena after classes, wearing weights and her disk, letting her hair run free, and generally being a nuisance:

A.) On campus, in the woods. She's swinging from trees and a make-shift forest obstacle course. Every movement is near perfect, nothing is wasted. Even watching her in the championships, she wasn't THIS good. What the hell happened in the last few months?

B.) Same deal, but it's in the city. The make-shift course is replaced by walls and fences she's running along and up, swinging upwards from poles, and generally looking like she's ready for the next Prince of Persia reboot.

Have been looking at the arcane rules of Duel Academy and cannot see any way to dispute final grades via practical applications of lessons. Like dueling teachers.

This is worst thing I have had to struggle with in entire life. How do people live like this?

A story that may help.

Trena sits in front of a shop downtown, staring at her phone.

Finally she looks like she's about to throw it, then just drops it into a pocket on her dress.

A few days after the Wonder Quartet, there's probably mourning and crying. It's a sad day, since one of the loudest voices hasn't REALLY said anything. There's been no selfies or shrieks. Or rage.

So, you. Yes you, brave person on this post, are near where some of the city has been wrecked, maybe being sad or looking for survivors who aren't cards. And there's a warlike yell as a spear made from some rebar sails wide. A warning shot?

And a girl emerges, short-ish for her age. White-ish hair matted. She wears a mask, which looks like she's taken other masks and crushed them together with brute force. Other masks adorn a belt she's wearing. She shrieks at you, but it's probably glee.

Trendafilka has probably five previous posts with this video linked a few times.

Trendafilka is wildly running circles around the park. She's making good time around the whole thing too. You may have made plans to hang out or there may be this girl making the shrillest, happiest noise you've ever heard running past you and you have to make it stop.

It's after the mess that was the latest SJL! Johan and Desdemona aren't dating anymore and are going to duel now. Isao had a meltdown, Yuya's got a duel and Divine Grace has successfully defended their title a few times.

Now, they've got their first interview. They've attempted to ambush an alone Trendafilka but she has dragged/begged Kou to come and do it with her. Besides, they're not beat-up and exhausted anymore.

[The semi-elusive members of Divine Grace! Thank you for joining us. We'll skip straight to the big question: You've managed to win a title and have hung onto it. How does this feel?]

BANNING?! MARIAS?! NEANDERTHALS. PLANARIAN WORMS. SCUM. IDIOTS. DISREGARDING THAT SHE...

Also also Kou and I are going to have PARTY. Have browbeat brother and Suguru-sis into hosting it at their place!

So, it's late late night/early morning. She's anywhere in Domino where she's not going to be bothered TOO much. Trendafilka is weaving nets out of heavy chord, scrambling up things, and is stringing them across streets. ... what the hell.

Or:

She's tossing pebbles at the highest window at Tops. It's five in the morning. Then with a 'screw this' she's scrambling up there, to bang on it in person.

Shun, Yuma, Sadame. Trena's been REALLY good. She got to a specified point EARLY like her parents told her too when doing something real important. And since she exaggerates everything, no one else is there yet. She even WAITS for like. Two minutes!

And then she's antsy. And sniffing. That Cestus person made it sound like they were saving the world. Which, she can do! Probably. The sniffing is apparently super helpful? She never thought of it that wa-Oh! That awful scent.

... ....

She can probably do something about it! She once made her birth father bleed, after kicking him in the nose for two minutes. And leaps, Stellarknight Zefraxciton joining her from her disk as she does, because she knows she's probably not enough to take them in melee. And then remembers the landscape breaking as she flies to the rift.

... well, it's been alright, as she braces herself and flies through it, Zefraxciton starting to beat off anything that's coming though. She lands on her back... different. ... well, not really. The face is the same. The eyes are the same. ... the hair, though. There's... so much of it now. And erring more to the white/silvery side instead of blonde. And red.

"I am dead. I am dead and this is afterlife, where I will be hounded by hairless cats and angry husbands. Garum and Slate will like me 'only as friend' and all decks I make will be Subterror, which is good, but has nothing I like about it. I will win tournaments, but will only taste rocks."

Anyone else: If you're out and about in Domino? You... you also see this display. Zefraxciton is keeping anything horrible off of you while you interact with her though.

Need more practice... much more practice. And glue for deck. Much more glue there, too.

On other hand! Need tag-team partner and.... after thinking a bit! Mister Kou? I think... you are best suited to how it works in this format for SJL! If you would be willing to!

(IE: Adults that have attempted to mentor her to see if anything sticks. Jinn, Shian, Isabel, Noriko, etc.)

So, um. How would one go about identifying weird cards...?

Also what would be best way to completely dismantle Ryozanpaku as school? Will probably need help!

A) It's right after Trendafilka dueled Isao. You may have seen her chatting with her parents, but afterwards she seems to have vanished. She has scaled something high and undoubtedly where she is not supposed to be to sit and stare blankly at the horizon.

B.) Trendafilka has a carrying case of ice cream cones and her face dead-set. She's infiltrating Ryozanpaku's dojo to bring sugary dairy products. She also smells like that might not be the only food on her.

Probably because he is more prideful than he is a good person BUT this also means I can duel and show him how fun it is without fighting and win or lose I have already won.

Not going to lie, am... slightly worried about match-up. Miss Marias...? Can we continue training until day of? Will need it, I feel. Fear it will not change much, but... If anyone else wishes to help, will accept and listen like I only listen to parents.

[Events]

A.) Trendafilka can be found outside her half-brother's bar, balancing on one hand, surrounded by books on alchemy, math puzzles, and stacking blocks. What looks like six full decks sit around her. Occasionally she will hop on her hand, to face one of the many things around her.

B.) She's skipping class and has sought shelter high above the academy and is sort of just. Spacing out and staring into the distance, the closest to distressed most anyone has ever seen her.

Trendafilka is prowling around. And she might be prowling for you!

She's at the College Arena, apparently doubling down on her duels as soon as she can make it from the island to the mainland. She's between duels, so you can bother her here.

Or: She's stalking Domino. Near one of your hangouts. You might not be her intended prey but you can sure ask why this girl is prowling around here, as late as one AM.

... apparently dueling talent is secondary and I also have to have perfect grades to stay in higher dorms?

The system must come down.

You can find Trendafilka flopped out in the park, for once looking exhausted, a little beat up, and her hands wrapped in a few bandages. She's also in athletic shorts and doesn't have a drop of makeup on. ...Is it really Trendafilka then?

... Think I may need some sort of sensei to re-drill some martial arts into me and maybe someone to give more tips on deck after last two duels. Need recovery options in my opponent's turns, in case of field wipe.

[Event]

She can be found on DA's island or in Domino, doing parkour. Occasionally, she stops and flops down, panting and clutching her ribs.
